About the Comprehensive Skill Assessment for Church-Planters
This instrument is designed to do a 360 degree assessment of your strengths and
weaknesses with regard to 16 areas of skill that have been determined to be
important to success in North American church-planting. This is accomplished by
having three individuals in addition to yourself log-in and respond to a series
of yes and no questions based on their observations of your past behaviors and
activities. Their responses are compiled with your own self-evaluation to give
a thorough preliminary assessment of your potential for effectiveness in North
American church-planting.
This assessment is normally paid for by a recruiter, evaluator or supervisor
who will meet with you to interpret the results. After the assessment is
purchased through the use of a credit card, the assessment purchaser will
be given a set of passwords and user ID's that will allow each of your joint
assessors to log-in and complete their portion of your assessment. When your
assessment is complete, the purchaser will be notified that a a report is
available to be downloaded and printed. He or she will then schedule a time
to meet with you personally to review the results and their implications for
your continuing growth and development. Sometimes this meeting is held in
the context of a training class or assessment center.
It is our recommendation that this instrument will be followed up with a face-to-face
interview or assessment experience or personal coaching for remedial growth and
development. It is designed to enhance and augment a face-to-face assessment but
not to replace it.
